Main Gate Bar & Grill first opened its doors in December 2010. Today our Little Falls bar and grill is one of central Minnesota’s largest restaurant / bar / lounge venues; and continues to be one of the area’s most happening places.

One step inside and you will immediately be drawn in by the sheer size of the place. Complete with high ceilings, a full horseshoe bar, table seating, arcade games, entertainment stage, dance floor, pool table, and made-to-order restaurant foods, you will be sure to have a memorable night-out on the town. The 9,500 square feet that make up the bar, kitchen and entertainment areas are well utilized and pack in everything you could ever want from your local watering-hole.

Located across from Camp Ripley’s main gate — which is how we got our name — Main Gate Bar & Grill draws crowds from all around the state and nation. Whether you are traveling north from the Twin Cities or St. Cloud, passing through from Alexandria or Sauk Centre, or a troop member on your way to or from Camp Ripley, we will always provide a warm welcoming atmosphere perfect for sipping a cocktail, enjoying a filling meal, or getting a little loud.

Our Bar Dreams

Main Gate Bar & Grill is under the ownership of Wanda Kretzman, Gary McDuffee and their sons, Jason and Ryan McDuffee. The family purchased the bar in December of 2010 after dreaming of bar ownership for well over a year. As their dream is now realized, they are proud to own and operate a respectable family business that boasts a family friendly restaurant with a full menu, as well as a reputable bar / lounge establishment that provides endless entertainment for local patrons and area travelers.

Our owners, along with the staff, continue to seek out and implement business improvements — both physically to the building itself as well as to our service offerings.
